The Manor House is a 16th Century complex originally used for farming activities which probably included olives and grape vines. The older part of the main building shows significant evidence of its history with traditional grinding wheels and large storage vats.

The Manor House is built in the locality of Pinoso, a trip that takes around 50 minutes from Alicante airport. The resort is away from the coastal hustle and bustle and is centered in a rural and tranquil setting.

The current owners have undertaken an extensive renovation program and the first few phases are almost completed. The main complex has already turned into a local community hub for many local ex-pats who can be found gathering and socializing at the resort.

Although it is easy to write the words to describe the hub, it is not until you experience it that you appreciate how it truly is a local gathering place. The Manor House has a daily and weekly program of events, food menus and social clubs to further encourage the local ambiance.

The completed renovations to the first phase of the Manor House building include: a reception / bar area; a restaurant; a TV and games area, a lounge with a large wood burning stove; a community room which was being used by the local Crib club and also for Spanish Lessons and a cinema / theatre area (also used for fortnightly auctions).

 There is an existing residents/ owners swimming pool in a private courtyard area, overlooked by the owner’s accommodation and used to host private events like local weddings on some occasions.

Around The Manor House Leisure Village

The front of the Manor House has a selection of modern children’s play equipment contained in a fenced area, a number of new patio tables and chairs for eating, drinking and socialising; the broad patio area is covered by a number of large overhead colored canvases that provide an effective shelter from the strong local sunshine.

Further away from the Manor House building there are 3 Petanque courts which play host to an onsite club several times a week. The area is partially shaded by trees and surrounded with patio chairs to sit upon whilst awaiting your turn.

There is a large fenced area which is designated to be a new swimming and leisure pool area. This will host a pool with a shallow end and swimming facilities, it will be finished and landscaped with Mediterranean plants to transform the front of the Manor House complex.      

Within the restaurant area there is a daily and weekly set of menus, covering breakfast through to evening meal, with 2 for 1 deals; dinner with the latest cinema films being very popular and other specials by day or week.  Sky TV is readily available both in the public area and the privately owned holiday homes. 

The Manor House common area also hosts an open PC that can be used by residents or visitors to perform their daily tasks; PC lessons are currently being planned for those who are new to this way of working. 

Whatever your interest, the owners will work with you to organize something to support your interest. They are also happy to arrange bicycle hire, golf club hire, car hire and even private flying lessons and airport transfers. 

 The area is home to many beautiful walking routes and cycle routes.

For wine connoisseurs there are many local wine producing bodegas and tours can be arranged for visitors.
